Welcome to J Walker Photography.
This site contains a brief portfolio of my work, ranging from portraits to landscapes.
Thankyou for taking the time to view some of my most recent work. This portfolio will give an overview of my different subjects and the styles in which I capture them.
All photos are captured digitally, using the Canon D30. Some confuse the term digital with fake; this is far from reality. All images have been captured just as if I was using film. No filters were used, other than occasionally a polarizing filter.
Post processing has only included techniques that help to more closely match the image as I physically saw it. These procedures are the same as we use with film and paper, only in the digital realm.
I enjoy the process of searching for, and capturing a photograph that is true to the original miracle I was able to witness.
